Network inspection Print

You have ordered a new network that in theory meets all the requirements you have defined in your procurement. The network is built and configured according to your requirements.

How do you know that you get what you asked for and paid for?

Everyone who have worked with IP networks know that there are many small details to keep track of, and that a single misconfiguration or a series of misunderstandings, can have a large negative impact.

The best time to find out if the network meets your requirements is to conduct an independent inspection before the network becomes operational, and the final payment is made. Actually it is no different from when you for example build a new house.

Absilion can conduct an independent inspection of your active broadband networks. An independent inspection is recommended when you have built an entirely new network, when you expand, or at worst, if you have got into a dispute with your contractor.

Examples of properties inspected and tested for a network that will cope with IPTV, Internet, and IP telephony are:

  • Access security: Does the network meet the essential security requirements?
  • Performance: Can the network manage hundreds or thousands of Mbit/s of IPTV multicast traffic in combination with high priority voice and other traffic? Is packet delays and packet losses at a reasonable level?
  • Functionality: Does the network prioritize important traffic, and does it support multicast?

Absilion has high competence and good references from previous inspections. For more information or references, please contact Marcus Jonsson, +46 (0)70-666 27 33, Mats Nordlund +46 (0)70-634 60 20 or sales@absilion.com.
