In November the requirement that all operators in a metro network must validate DNSSEC for .se, in order to become SEC certified, was introduced.
It proved difficult, leading to the following changes in order to accelerate towards the objective of a secure Internet-infrastructure in Sweden:
* Absilion and Interlan establish a list of approved operators that validate DNSSEC based on SEC certifications. * In each customer portal or equivalent, a SEC certified metro network must refer to this list of approved operators. * Approved operators are allowed to use the DNSSEC logo on its website and in their campaigns in the SEC certified network. * New operators to deliver Internet services in a SEC certified metro network must validate DNSSEC. * For a network with only one operator, the requirement on DNSSEC remains. * 2011-03-01 the validation of DNSSEC will be required for all operators again.
